Tri Like a Girl workouts is group rides and brick runs (an optional run off the bike) for women on the first Saturday of each month. The emphasis of these rides is to have fun and meet other women who LOVE to Tri while getting a workout in! All levels and abilities are welcome and encouraged to participate. Rides will be led by Stephanie Artis of Freeplay Magazine and/or Team Freeplay athletes.
What: 16-mile bike + optional 2-3 mile run
Route: Ride will leave Folsom Bike and pick up the American River Bike Trail across the street. For this Tri Like a Girl Kick-Off Ride, we will head down the bike trail to the Hazel and then return to Folsom Bike via the same route. After the ride, an optional 2-3 mile run off the bike will be offered. The run will also be conducted on the American River Bike Trail. After crossing the street runners will continue on the trail to Beal's Point. 2 miles and 3-miles turnarounds will be marked in chalk.
